About me
Hi, I’m Julie — the creator behind Drift & Bloom.
As I near retirement from a rewarding career in education, I’ve found myself returning to something I’ve loved my entire life — creating. Teaching has always been about helping others discover beauty, wonder, and meaning, and now I bring that same passion into every piece I make.
Nature has always been my greatest inspiration. Whether it’s the movement of the ocean, the texture of driftwood, the delicate beauty of flowers, or the peaceful feeling of being outdoors, I love capturing those moments and preserving them in resin. Each creation is handcrafted with care and designed to bring a little of nature’s beauty into your home.
For me, creating isn’t just about making something beautiful — it’s about telling a story, preserving a memory, and crafting pieces that people will treasure for years to come. Every table, charcuterie board, wall hanging, bowl, and decorative piece is one of a kind, just as nature intended.
My hope is that when you bring one of my creations into your home, it inspires the same sense of peace, joy, and connection to the outdoors that inspired me to create it.
